The day was quite shiny and bright

There was also comfort and light

It was not difficult to feel the warmth

The hope, the optimism, and the charm

All were happy and hopeful as ever

It was 2014,16th of December

They left for school all jolly and charm

Never had they thought they would die all along

They were total 150 strong

All of them were completely unarmed

Most were kids aged twelve to fifteen

They saw the death none should have seen

They entered the school still smiling and chanting

They had no idea of any such mishappening

The assassins entered scaling the school wall

They bombed their own vehicle to create distraction for all

They entered the classes armed with rifles and grenade

Targeting every student they saw on their way

None could understand how to escape

The kids shouted, cried for mercy

But the devils were left with no courtesy

Commandos of the Pak army came to help

They captured the attackers that wore suicide vest(s)

The terrorists were all killed during confronting

But the scars they left were ever-living...
